Houston commuters waste more than 1.18 million hours annually in traffic commuting. To raise awareness of Spring Branch as an alternative to living in the suburbs, Avenue M was tapped to develop a strategic and creative solution for this community located in the heart of Houston.
Under the theme of "Quit the Commuting", Avenue M created a bold billboard campaign - refreshed every year for three years - which spoke to drivers along the packed arteries of I-10 and Highway 290. The messages emphasized Spring Branch as a vibrant neighborhood that is minutes from downtown, the Galleria, and all other key employment centers within Houston.
To further support the outdoor messaging, Avenue M conceived, wrote and produced a series of companion radio spots that aired on KTRH, KPRC and KNTH during traffic reports.
As CEO of Southwest Airlines, Gary Kelly was a one-of-a-kind leader, beloved by staff on the ground as well as in the air. To celebrate receiving the 2017 Distinguished Achievement Award which acknowledged his outstanding accomplishments in the field of aviation, Avenue M was tapped with developing a print and direct mail campaign that captured the essence of Mr. Kelly’s love of the business and sense of humor.
Some 30,000 pets were abandoned last year in Houston - more than any other city in the U.S. As a 501(c)(3) umbrella organization dedicated to ending homelessness of companion animals and alleviate suffering, Houston PetSet focused on saving lives by finding long-term solutions to animal overpopulation, neglect and cruelty.
To bring their story to life, Avenue M worked with Swagger Media and the talented CD, Rob Andrew to develop new messaging and positioning for Houston PetSet. The campaign included a video for viewing in theaters as well as live presentations, a new website and print collateral material.
Presented through the collaboration of The British Museum, Mummy: The Inside Story exhibit houses hundreds of ancient artifacts from the Egyptian collection, exploring the life and death of the priest Nesperennub. To promote the exhibit, Avenue M developed a comprehensive advertising campaign under the theme of “His Life After Death” supported by magazine print ads, outdoor and radio.
Founded in the late 1950s, the Learjet brand is synonymous with private jet luxury and excellence. These high-performing aircraft have captured the imagination of aviators and entrepreneurs alike since they first took to the sky. For more than two decades, Avenue M developed ads, brochures, websites and videos that supported the sales of these aircraft while introducing each new version of this legendary flyer.
Located inside the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Brown Hall of Entomology is a paradise for bug lovers. Visitors can delve deeper into the world of insects at an interactive exhibit that explores the importance of insects in our ecosystem, their roles in agriculture and medicine, and the challenges they face. To get the word out, Avenue M worked with HMNS to develop this award-winning campaign that combined these little heroes with pop culture.
Created to challenge convention, the Bombardier Challenger 850 business aircraft has established a new class. The largest super-midsize aircraft offered by Bombardier Aerospace, the Challenger 850 fuses the capabilities of a larger corporate jet with the comfort and flexibility of an executive jet.
To introduce this exemplary business jet to the North American and European markets, Avenue M collaborated with the talented people at BMG MultiMedia, Quebec City.

This campaign was created to firmly establish Mahindra tractors as being a vital part of the American landscape by showing vivid examples of Mahindra tractors at work for farmers across the country.
Launched in 2021, Wingspan is a digital magazine published quarterly by MHIRJ. Dedicated to the CRJSeries aircraft, the magazine features industry news, insights, and vital information about new aerospace trends, products and services.
As Senior Editor of Wingspan, Cameron has been involved with the magazine since its inception and is responsible for content creation, writing and editing feature articles, and interviewing industry leaders to develop newsworthy content.
In 2023, Wingspan migrated from being an online magazine to a dynamic blog featuring articles and videos within the MHIRJ website @ www.wingspan.mhirj.com
Frogs: A Chorus of Colors showcases the diverse and vibrant world of frogs. The exhibition, featuring frogs in naturalistic habitats, highlights the astonishing array of colors and patterns found among different frog species. Avenue M conceived and wrote a series of ads, outdoor, and radio that culminated in the legend himself, Kermit, making a personal appearance at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
